• Report from London: Urban sketching in the age of COVID-19

    The view from the end of the back garden, the furthest distance that I've been from our flat in ten days. Birds chatter in the trees, neighbours talk across fences and an occasional siren sounds in the distance. The brambles are beginning to take hold and I plan out how I WILL make a proper veg patch this year. I lose myself in drawing, trying to mix greens that reflect the colours of nature. It's so nice to sit here and draw. My mind almost forgets everything else going on at the moment. Almost.
